Work Experience
For women who need to build up and strengthen their resume, we have a number of volunteer work experience opportunities.
Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on. We are here to help women and girls navigate their way through various life circumstances.
Clients of the centre have access to a variety of complimentary resources and services. They also have access to phones, computers and printers.
We opened our doors November 10th, 1984 with the priority of addressing the unmet needs of women and girls in East Prince. With our ears and feet to the ground, we continue to be the voice of women in our community.
Women's employability and economic stability is a core pillar of the services we provide. Since our inception, we have delivered innovative skills training programs that has helped 100s of women gain meaningful employment allowing them to support themselves and their family.
Making a difference in our community
Working with the centre provides women with a voice for social change. We have partnered with many community groups and organizations to help bring the community together on issues of importance to women and their families. Volunteers are eligible to sit on the Board of Directors.
